Lucy Joy  Works in Brighton, Hove and East Sussex.

Lucy is a Creative Psychotherapist and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapist (DDP), who works creatively integrating other modes of counselling to suit each individual clients needs. She originally trained at Roehampton University gaining a Masters in Dramatherapy. She is a member of the HCPC and the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth).

Lucy​ has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with behavioural, emotional and social issues. She supports those who have feelings of shame, anger and have experienced loss through family separation, divorce or bereavement. She is committed to help understand and give you the freedom to set your own pace to achieve happiness and empowerment.

 

Lucy has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with behavioural, emotional and social issues. 

 

She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, colleges and universities. She previously worked at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and with young people diagnosed with eating disorders (The Priory).

 

Prior to her training Lucy worked professionally as an actor and physical theatre performer.

Ali is a registered Health Care Professional which means that she meets national standards for training, skills, behaviour and health.

Ali obtained a master’s degree in Dramatherapy in 2015 and has over 10 years of experience working in Mental Health. She has a holistic approach towards improving mental health and wellbeing with a specific interest in helping people to connect with themselves. Drawing upon Arts Psychotherapy, yoga, meditation and reiki, Ali tailors the most suitable approach to meet the individual’s needs and goals.

Ali has experience working with adults, young people and children. She is currently employed by the NHS where she specialises in trauma and attachment.

Ali has additional training in REBT (CBT), DBT and Trauma focused CBT.

Ali works with both individuals and groups, delivers training to other professionals, runs workshops and creative projects.

Ali is based in South West London at Wholeharmony Wellbeing Centre.
