Children and young people may find talking really difficult and this is where creative therapies can really help. Working creatively can offer a different unique way for your child to express themselves. Our goal is to celebrate your child’s individuality to become the best version of themselves. As therapists we will invite your child to experience the freedom to laugh and to play alongside the work of the difficult issues they may be facing.
Working creatively helps to boost your mind, body and soul. In the sessions your child can use drama, animation, art materials, story, music, meditation, their voice, movement and body work, or... they may just want to chat.
The subconscious loves to express itself through creativity, because it is non-verbal and is led by feelings and intuition.
‘It is a unique form of psychotherapy in which creativity, play, movement, voice, story, dramatisation and the performance arts have a central position within the therapeutic relationship.’
